Defence Housing Australia (DHA) has been made aware of a cyber-security breach of a third-party service provider.
There has been no impact to, or breach of, DHA or Defence ICT systems.
We are investigating this incident in collaboration with Defence, including determining if any Defence personnel or families’ information has been compromised.
DHA has notified the Australian Cyber Security Centre, the Department of Home Affairs’ Cyber Security Response Unit and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Defence personnel affected by this incident will be advised as soon as practicable.
