This October, hear from a panel of experts sharing unique insights into property investment with DHA in Brisbane.
During the interactive panel session, you'll hear from DHA’s leasing specialists and industry guests, giving you a deeper understanding of the investment journey, leasing arrangements and experience of investing with DHA.
Our panel will also discuss the findings of Oxford Economics Australia’s independent report comparing DHA's service fee to a traditional property management fee. Plus, you’ll be able to discover new-build investment opportunities and connect with local builders and developers offering house and land packages with a DHA lease commitment in place upon completion.
The presentation will cover key aspects of leasing to DHA, including:
- our long-term lease and guaranteed* rent
- the Property Care Contract and the services provided under our single Service Fee
- what we look for in a property and priority locations for Defence housing
- the process for leasing a property to DHA.
*Rent may be subject to abatement under certain circumstances such as loss of enjoyment or amenity, or breach of lease terms. Rent is paid where the property is habitable. Should a property become uninhabitable during the term of the lease, or lessor breaches the lease terms, the rent may cease or abate and lease may be terminated by DHA. Guaranteed rent is subject to the terms of the lease. DHA does not take into account an investor's objectives or financial needs.
