Dear Ministers
On behalf of Defence Housing Australia's (DHA) Board of Directors, I am pleased to present our Annual Report for the financial year ending 30 June 2015.
DHA continues to deliver housing and related services to Australian Defence Force members and their families in accordance with the Defence Housing Australia Act 1987, and our obligations under service agreements with the Department of Defence.
This report details our performance against strategic objectives and performance indicators set out in our Corporate Plan 2014–15 to 2017–18. It has been prepared in accordance with all legislative requirements, including Division 6 of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 and subsections 63(2) and 70(2) of the Public Service Act 1999.
I am satisfied that we have prepared a fraud risk assessment and fraud control plan, and have appropriate fraud prevention, detection, investigation, reporting and data collection procedures in place that comply with the Commonwealth Fraud Control Guidelines.
I commend this report to you as a record of our achievements and compliance, and request that you present it to Parliament.
Yours sincerely
The Hon. J.A.L. (Sandy) Macdonald
Chairman
