Defence aHousing Australia Annual Report 2014-15

Our structure

The Board of Directors is accountable through our Shareholder Ministers to the Australian Government for the proper and efficient performance of our functions. They make decisions on organisational direction and strategy, largely through our Corporate Plan. More information about our Board of Directors, related committees and director profiles is set out in Part 3 of this report.

An Executive Group comprises the most senior staff in the organisation and supports the Managing Director in fulfilling our role. Details of each member and their responsibilities is set out later in this section.

The Executive Group's broad purpose is to provide leadership, guide performance and ensure accountability for our activities. It meets regularly to discuss topical and operational issues. Members also meet periodically to discuss strategic matters, key issues and to consider new policies and initiatives.

Figure 1 (page 17) shows our links to the Australian Government as at 30 June 2015.
