For the life of the lease, you can expect your rental payment to be paid to you on the first day of each month via electronic funds transfer to your nominated bank account1. Your monthly statement can be viewed via Online Services.

Over the course of your lease, there may be occasions where your rental payment amount may vary. This variance usually occurs when there have been charges applied to your account.

You can refer to your statement for itemised details of any charges applied to your account. The 'Charges' tab within Online Services will also indicate any future charges to be applied.

If there are any changes to your contact details during the lease term, you can update this information via Online Services.

To update your bank details, you will need to complete and submit a Lessor Amendment form (PDF 221 KB).

1. Rent is subject to abatement in limited circumstances. As per the DHA Lease Agreement, rent is paid where the property is able to be occupied. Should a property become uninhabitable during the term of the lease or due to a lessor’s breach of the lease terms, the rent may be withheld until the property has been rectified and can once again be occupied.
