Service providers

DHA has established a variety of panels to assist with its provisioning and maintenance requirements. Each panel has its own criteria for inclusion however the core criteria are:

  • Capacity to perform the type of work involved - demonstrated ability in meeting deadlines, availability in key locations or nationally and throughout various seasons, technical skills, management skills, insurance and certifications, quality assurance and WHS.
  • Understanding of requirements - how DHA works, customer service, quality and safety in delivery.
  • Ability, experience and track record – a demonstrated history of delivery, supporting references, evidence of quality improvement and training.

Refer to each panel below for expected opening and closing periods. These will be updated from time to time to reflect DHA’s requirements.

Real Estate DHA has an established panel of real estate agents to execute the marketing and sale of surplus DHA properties (Owned by Defence and DHA). This panel is also recommended to DHA investors who are looking to sell their DHA investment property before the lease ends (Mid-Lease Sale).

Valuers Valuation services are specifically tailored to meet business transactions between DHA and valuation companies contracted to provide services to DHA. All valuations are compliant with API standards and are sought depending on requirements that could vary from an AS IS or AS IF market valuation relating to a strategic business case for acquisition, construction or sale and leaseback of an individual property; disposal of a dwelling; leasing of a building; construction; bulk acquisitions; greenfield/brownfield acquisitions; and annual rental revaluations.
