You can choose to arrange your own pest inspections, or we can
coordinate regular inspections on your behalf as part of our Pest
Inspection Scheduling Service.
If you elect to use this service, we will arrange for one of our panel
contractors to carry out the inspections. The cost of this will be
deducted from your monthly rental payment (these costs may vary and
could change without notice). The contractor will provide an inspection
report that you can access through Online Services.
If the pest service provider identifies on the inspection report that
your property requires barrier replenishment, treatments or damage
repair (which may include structural repair), the cost of any treatments
or repairs is your responsibility. If agreed in writing, DHA can assist
to seek a quote on your behalf from a registered contractor and provide
contact information as required.
Our Pest Inspection Scheduling Service does not cover:
• any treatment for pests on your property
• repair of damage that they have caused
• replenishment of barriers (see information below)
• treatments for active termites.
