Defence One, the new Human Resource and Payroll System for Defence went live on the 7 August 2017.
Release 1a brought the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and Australian Public Service (APS) into a single system, Defence One. This involved significant changes in terminology, how ADF members apply for absences and allowances and how applications are approved and processed.
With the implementation of Defence One, some changes to people policies will apply.
Bond and RA advance
From 28 July 2017 you can now apply for RA advances without having to secure a property beforehand. Apply today through DHA Online Services.
From 28 July 2017 you no longer need to tell us of your categorisation change. Defence will now notify us directly if any changes have occurred.
Under Defence One, a number of administration processes have been simplified. This includes the automation of member contributions for Living In Meals and Utilities. Notice periods for living in accommodation have also changed.
