About Crimson Hill
Crimson Hill is a masterplanned community adjoining Lane Cove National Park on Sydney's North Shore. It occupies a generous elevated site with superb outlooks, incorporating the natural landscape, open spaces and sustainable design.
This community features a mix of 345 apartments, townhouses and homes that blend sympathetically into the surrounds. DHA retained approximately 40 per cent of the apartments for Defence members and their families.
The name Crimson Hill was selected in recognition of the rich, vibrant colour of the Victoria Cross medal ribbon. Crimson Hill continues to honour the Victoria Cross by naming each of its precincts after recipients of the prestigious award. Alexander Burton, William Dunstan, Frederick Tubb, John Hamilton, Alfred Shout, Leonard Keysor and William Symons have all been recognised as part of Crimson Hill.
