About Betty Cuthbert Estate
This site has significant historical heritage as it was once home to Australian sporting legend, Betty Cuthbert. The existing heritage-listed cottage has been preserved in its current condition for future generations to enjoy.
The community consists of 47 residential dwellings, with DHA building 42 for Defence members and their families. The townhouses have been constructed with a six-star Energy Efficiency Rating, reducing environmental impacts and the cost of living for families.
The Estate is named in honour of Betty Cuthbert, Australian Athlete and Olympic Champion who once resided in the heritage-listed cottage.
