09 September 2013 One chance left to secure Heartwood

Time is running out to make your home in Heartwood with only one block remaining in the second release of the sought-after Defence Housing Australia (DHA) residential development.

The new community is enveloped by bushland that stretches southwest for more than 70km, providing a location that is protected from further urbanisation.

“Location-wise, Heartwood is surrounded by nature trails and scenic riverside walks,” DHA Managing Director Peter Howman said. “Finding a tranquil location like Heartwood in the hustle and bustle of Sydney is a dream come true for many families and those families are snapping up the opportunity quickly.”

Careful planning of Heartwood has allowed for 120 generous-sized land lots. DHA will retain 42 land lots for Defence members and their families, with the rest sold to the open market. This is the second release to the public. It will be followed by a third, and final stage, of the residential development but buyers are warned not to wait too long to secure their piece of Heartwood.

“Opportunities like Heartwood simply don’t come along often in Sydney or any city for that matter,” Mr Howman said. “While there is one more release to come, we are expecting to have an influx of buyers who may have been holding out to see what was to come.”

Land lots, in the second release, range in size from 458sqm to 720sqm. A third and final stage will be released in October.
