As this year’s posting orders start to roll out, it’s a great time for Defence members and their families to take a fresh look at the Defence Community Hub to learn all about their new posting location.
Launched in April 2017, the Community Hub is a collaborative project between Defence Housing Australia (DHA), Defence Community Organisation (DCO) and Defence Families of Australia (DFA), which provides information to assist Defence families throughout every stage of their posting cycle.
As of 30 June the hub is now accessible to Defence members via Online Services – automatically displaying information based on their current tenancy details and posting location.
This addition makes selecting a DHA housing solution more convenient than ever before – offering users quick and easy access to the hub for important information to inform their decision making – all in one central place!
On the hub members can instantly access a wealth of information, including handy guides to local healthcare services, childcare, schools, public transport options and links to the latest news and events in each area.
The hub also connects members to a huge network of Defence and community groups – a vital step in helping families plan their move and settle into their new neighbourhood as quickly as possible.
