16 August 2017 Popcorn and a movie home delivered at Breezes Muirhead

Approximately 250 locals came together in the surrounding community parkland to watch the animated musical comedy film Sing, with thanks to the sponsors, Telstra Casuarina Store. Local Telstra staff were also present handing out free show bags to attendees.

Residents enjoyed home delivered tasty treats served up by local catering businesses Soft Serve Fantasy and Katja’s Delicious Popcorn. Free family fun activities including face painting and jumping castles were provided to keep the kids entertained.

The Muirhead Residents’ Association also ran a BBQ raising funds for the upcoming Muirhead Halloween Trail.

DHA Senior Development Manager, Chris Grimm, said the event was one of many events held to establish vibrant and friendly communities.

‘Breezes Muirhead is a premium property development and our residents enjoy the exclusive family friendly events that we organise,’ Chris said.

‘Where else can you get movies delivered under the stars in your local park, complete with ice-cream and popcorn!’

The Movies Under the Stars event has continued to grow since starting three years ago. It is a fantastic opportunity for the local community to meet their neighbours and enjoy a fun night with free entertainment.
