For members with dependants HomeFind, DHA's online home search facility, is available to assist with selecting their new home. When DHA receives the member's Application For Relocation (AFR), access to HomeFind will be made available.

HomeFind enables members and their families to view houses that are within their housing entitlement in the new posting location. Details about the property may include:

• photos;
• floor plans;
• maps of the area, detailing schools, hospitals and other facilities;
• full property description including details of the internal fittings; and
• local region information (e.g. climate).

Early viewing on HomeFind is available (via a Preview Pin) to members who:

• submit a Pre-AFR online; or
• return the tear-off card from the Pre-AFR letter .

For single members, DHA will facilitate the location of appropriate housing on-base or available alternatives.
