Adelaide

There are currently no requirements for housing in South Australia. Please note application reviews and assessments will not commence again until June 2012.

Properties required in the following areas:

• Inner North Eastern suburbs to Hewett
• South Western suburbs to Woodcroft
• Western suburbs from the city to the sea

There are currently no leasing requirements for properties located in the Adelaide Hills. However, DHA prefers the following features for Adelaide housing:

• homes less than five (5) years of age (preferred)
• three (3), four (4) or five (5) bedrooms
• lounge and dining rooms
• built-in robes with shelving in all bedrooms
• ducted evaporative cooling or reverse cycle air conditioning in entire dwelling
• ducted heating or reverse cycle air conditioning in entire dwelling
• double garage (with remote control access preferred)
• security screen doors and deadlocks on all external doors
• insect screens and locks on all windows
• covered outdoor entertainment area (patio/pergola, sail), minimum size of 15m2
• no swimming pool, outdoor spa, pond or water feature (preferred), and
• fully fenced 35m2 rear yard.
