New housing in Warner Springs
Defence Housing Australia is pleased to announce a new development in Warner Springs, Brisbane, after signing a conditional contract to purchase the site.
The site is to be developed by Peet Limited, and will include around 465 residential lots, and two medium-density super lots. Around one-third will be provided as Defence housing, with the remainder being made available to the public.
Peet Limited are leaders in the residential construction industry, and “we are pleased to partner with them on this development”, said Peter Howman, Acting Managing Director for DHA.
Warner Springs is an ideal location for Defence members, located just 20 kilometres northwest of Brisbane's CBD and 17 kilometres from Enoggera Army Base.
Defence properties on the site will be built to a six star Energy Efficiency Rating, providing homes which reduce environmental impacts, and the cost of living for families.
More information on the development will be made available over the coming months.
