Ms Margaret Walker

Margaret Walker was appointed as a Director of Defence Housing Australia in July 2009. Since August 2009 she has been a member of the Board Audit Committee and was appointed to the Nomination and Remuneration Committee in October 2009. Concurrently, Margaret is a non-executive Director of Cystic Fibrosis Queensland, Cystic Fibrosis Australia and Sentinel Pty Ltd. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce and is a member of the Australian Society of CPAs, the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Women on Boards. Margaret has over 15 years senior executive experience with a variety of organisations, including 10 years in strategic roles as Executive Director and Director Operations of Tactical Global Management (TGM), a pre-eminent global macro hedge fund firm with offices in Brisbane and London and US$1.2b funds under management.
